525 East Genesee Street, Frankenmuth MI, 48734
Our 2023-2024 school year officially begins next week.
With so much anticipation and expectation in the air, it’s fair to wonder right about now what actions will encourage success all throughout FSD over the next 10 months.
While there’s no shortage of success formulas and frameworks out there, here are three simple success steps I’d like all of us to consider.
See what you think!
1. Be aware
I believe no one does this better than our Frankenmuth community.
Apathy is not contagious here – and I’m grateful for this.
Not every superintendent can say this.
So, thank you!
And here’s our updated Back-to-School link you might find helpful.
2. Show up
On Tuesday “Meet & Greet” events at our Eagle Express PreSchool, List Elementary, and EFR Middle School were packed!
I can’t remember who said it, but the success of our Meet & Greets reminded me of this quote.
“Showing up is the first step to making the impossible possible!”
Once again, I have our entire school family, community, and you to thank.
I like the fact our Eagle spirit is more about showing up than showing off.
And our students and staff are continually encouraged because of this.
3. Team up and do the work
In a district like ours that lives the mantra “Where effort opens opportunity,” this third step to success probably doesn’t surprise you.
BUT nevertheless, I do have a surprise for you.
And I’ll share this surprise about Success Step #3 next week.
So, please stay tuned!
(aka Be Aware!)
Have a wonderful Labor Day holiday and thanks for your continued support of our students and staff.
