How do you predict the impact of future hopes and dreams?
 
When it comes to the success and achievements of our students, I’m not sure this is even possible.
 
Just a quick look at this 30 second video will tell you that mere stones have their own potential and beauty.

Just like this took master artist Justin Bateman to create this “land art” portrait, it took parents & families, teachers & staff, and community & friends to help prepare our students for the exciting times ahead for them.
 
This is why I’m grateful our FSD school family takes care celebrate with our students their “next steps” at this time of year.
 
Whether our students are moving up from Preschool to Kindergarten – or graduating into the world as members of the FHS Class of 2023 – appropriately recognizing these moments is a big deal.
 
And it should be!
 
Our preschoolers and their teachers were honored recently on the Palmer Schau Platz stage.

And exactly one week ago (last Thursday evening) this was the scene at the football field for the Class of 2023 Commencement ceremony.

I’m sure I was not the only one who was touched by the display of unbridled enthusiasm our students have for their futures.
 
Seeing them at school celebrations like these, reminded me of these words from Helen Keller.

Because of you and our entire Frankenmuth community, our Eagles – young and old – are prepared and ready to soar to the next level.
